Riverwood Resort on the Gunnison has been a part of Delta, Colorado since 1984. The property is unique in that it has 1/3^rd of a mile of Gunnison River frontage and a pond, providing a shady oasis on Colorado’s Western Slope.

New ownership purchased Riverwood because it offers a convenient, cost-effective way of accessing all of Colorado’s Western Slope adventures.

Whether your idea of adventure consists of shopping, dining with friends, hiking, wine tasting, hunting, fishing, floating, scrambling, or climbing, Riverwood is in the center of it all. Check out our Map of Area Adventures.

We don’t charge resort fees or other hidden costs at our Delta hotel and RV park, and we receive no compensation – other than personal satisfaction – for the adventures and services that you book with other partners via our website.

Meet The Resort Team

At Riverwood Resort, we take pride in providing a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests.

Your hosts at our hotel and RV Campground in Delta are adventurers: Evan likes to climb rock and ice, skydive and ski. Monique enjoys traveling around the San Juan Mountains and the Western Slope. Elson enjoys working creatively with all types of off-road vehicles. The rest of our staff likes to overland and explore in their campers.
