Large, clean rooms , most with private patios, several with full kitchens, and one two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and a huge riverfront patio is what makes us the best hotel in Delta. TVs range in size from 26” to 55” and have Roku connectivity. The RV campground has full hookup sites with plenty of shade, a recently renovated bathhouse, coin-operated laundry, and, in Spring 2024, a new community grill station.

Hotel Rooms

Riverwood Resort, recognized as the best hotel in Delta, Colorado, offers 16 units, including a single queen room, several double queen rooms – some with full kitchens – and king rooms, and a two-bedroom apartment replete with a large kitchen/dining room perfect for large families.

All but one of our rooms have private patios and an exterior entrance, in addition to the interior entrance. For those rooms that do not have kitchens, you can still enjoy the comforts of a minifridge, microwave and Keurig coffee.

Our pet-friendly hotel goes the extra mile to ensure that your furry companions feel right at home during their stay. Our rooms feature a private patio, and each room is equipped with all the essentials during your stay: Food bowl filled with delicious treats and a cozy blanket to curl up on after a day of adventure.

When booking, please let us know how many pets you’re bringing. There is a maximum of three per room or RV Spot and a cleaning fee for the hotel.

Primitive Tent & RV Sites

New for 2024 are 10 campsites in our 8 acres of primitive forest land. These primitive tent and camper sites offer a serene escape for outdoor enthusiasts seeking an off-grid experience. The land is a peninsula covered by old growth Cottonwood and Elm trees tapping into significant water supplies.

You will truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but still be able to walk to the bathhouse or drive to nearby amenities.

Each site is thoughtfully placed to maximize privacy and immersion in nature, offering the perfect setting for stargazing around a crackling campfire or listening to the soothing sounds of the Gunnison River.
